Production Film Chase Sequence - The Pursuit

The Pursuit

The plot of the short sequenced film is portrayed as a chase sequence that includes one protagonist and two antagonists. The two antagonists chase the protagonist through different obstacles. One antagonist uses a gun through the chase and attempts to murder the protagonist various times. The end sequence ends with the protagonist running into a dead end and gets court by the two antagonists and beat up. The protagonist then ends up getting a bullet in his head.

Equipment used in the short film

2x Sony HDV

We used the Sony HDV cameras to receive good quality film . This camera is also good for moving around because it is portable.

2x Tripods

We used these tripods to keep the camera steady and to get a good angle. The tripod can be very handy because you can extend the height of the view, by extending the legs.

When using the Tripods I place the tripod on the location that is set in the film I use it to keep the camera to be able to get a good shot.

2x Camera Tapes

We use the tape to capture all of our footage that we filmed on the Sony HDV. The tape is imported into the camera and is designed to capture the film footage that you have just taken.

1x Firewire cable for Video Cameras

Firewire is used for capturing the film footage onto the computer, in my case the imac.
